Happy Valentines Day

I would like to take this moment and express my admiration for the clients that that go through a divorce and treat their children like valuable assets. As custody lawyers we constantly see clients at their worst. Children are pawns – to be traded for money and used as an advantage. There are people that are incredibly destructive to their families, and ones that stage horrific events in front of those children for the purpose of throwing mud at the other party. I understand competition and winning – that is part of my career. But if it comes at a cost of damaging children, some sanity has to be shown.I also would like to encourage clients to move on with their lives after their divorce. That is one of the things that Valentines Day stands for – moving on with your life and finding new significant others. So lets all raise a glass of wine in one hand, and have some great valentines chocolate in the other hand, and wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day !
